"It's about learning to dance in the rain." - Vivian Greene

For those of us that refuse to stay inside when the weather is less than desirable. The GoShelter Wearable Hands-Free Canopy is your solution to keep doing the outdoor activities no matter the weather. From the duck tail that keeps the rain from running down the back of your legs to the side slider adjustments that let you open or close the front as you like, every part of the GoShelter has been designed to make weathering the elements easier.

The patented design completely revolutionizes staying dry so you can use hiking poles, a fishing rod, camera, weed eater, or whatever you need to work or play.

The canopy suspends around your body for air circulation and allows ample space for a backpack. So wear the GoShelter alone or with a backpack because it covers both. Then adjust the webbing system to customize the fit just the way you like it.

The GoShelter features waterproof ripstop fabric that's lightweight and stands up to abrasion. The frame is sturdy yet flexible and allows the GoShelter to be folded into a disk to be easily carried in the attached sling bag.

So what are you waiting for?

"Crossing Fontana Dam meant the end of our backpacking trip, but the beginning of developing the GoShelter."

    J.A. Huddleston, GoShelter Inventor/Founder

How 3 Days Changed My Life

Three solid days of rain on the Appalachian Trail finally broke the metaphorical camel’s back. We’re not talking misty rain. We’re talking steady down pour rain all day and all night. It was that trip that put the concept of the GoShelter on the trail of becoming reality.

I needed something that was wearable and big enough to keep the rain off of me and my backpack. It had to be hands-free and allow air to move around me so I didn't sweat. It also had to fold down to pack away. Tall order, right? Of course, I searched camping and outdoor gear for something, but nothing existed with the list of requirements.

Well, after lots of design attempts, I finally created the one that works. It’s lightweight, wearable, covers me and my backpack, and uses waterproof ripstop fabric. It allows air circulation, collapses to a flat disk, and keeps my hands free to hold hiking poles, my camera, or to just put my hands in my pockets. I named it the GoShelter.

Maybe you’ve been in my shoes while hiking, hunting, working, going to class, or watching your favorite team. If so, then try my invention because the GoShelter has you covered no matter the weather.
